As one of Constructing Excellence’s Regional Winners in 2020, the Catalyst is a ground-breaking facility, home to the UK’s National Innovation Centre for Ageing and the National Innovation Centre for Data. These activities will deliver collaborative partnerships, integrated working and sustainable, progressive economic growth, enabling the UK – and especially Newcastle and the North East – to become a global leader in innovation through ageing and data. Through the supply and installation of specialist architectural metalwork items, including feature staircases and balustrades, we added a distinctive architectural touch whilst ensuring functionality and safety. The carefully designed feature staircases and balustrades not only serve as visual features but also contribute to the overall appeal and usability of this award-winning project.
